It’s not every day that we witness the design of a brand new multifunctional district which, perhaps, in 20, 40 or 50 years will be presented as the heritage of the 2020s.
The Reyers district has borne the imprint of the RTBF building and tower since the 1970s.
Today, the entire perimeter is being redeployed around the Mediapark project.
The new configuration of the district will accommodate a 10-hectare park, housing, collective infrastructure such as a nursery, a health center, etc.
Its center of gravity: the new RTBF headquarters. A building with innovative technologies, both in architecture and in work tools. The opening onto the neighborhood and its inhabitants will be very concrete: everyone will be able to enter the building, in an open space with a restaurant.
